2012!!!!
A New Years resolution was to put this thing to use more. The photo from above is from a fun shoot my amazing photographer friend Amy E. Hughes did. School officially started back today. Womp Womp. To me the first day is so overwhelming, its like hey remember how you just spent thousands on tuition well ….go buy all these books!!! And then read them and tell me what you think. I came back to San Marcos after a month hiatus of living back with my parents and it is still weird being back and not seeing my Dad watching the Syfy channel in the living room. Looking forward to a lot of things in 2012
1.the olympics. Go America.
2.keeping my workout regimen in check
3.Summer. the river. booze, etc.
4.Summerloving with my sweet man Steve
5.Surving 2012 to tell my kids I beat the Mayans.

I cannot wait for Halloween!!!! Steve will be here next week and we have tickets for a concert on Saturday and friday night were having a house costume party on Friday night so it should be a pretty fun and festive weekend! Only one more week

Last weekend I got the opportunity to go to the third day of the Austin City Limits music festival. Which in Texas….is basically the festival of all festivals. The tickets come out and a few days or sometimes hours they are sold out. So when I got the chance for a free wristband I took the opportunity. I got too see
The Walkmen- I didn’t know who they were before…but really liked there style nice guys in nice suits.
AWOLNATION- these guys were amazing, we were semi close and danced our socks off, then realized it was 100 degrees and tall boys wouldn’t hydrate us efficiently.
Elbow- This guy was an old british guy…who creepishly sounded like Coldplay….
Fleet Foxes- BY FAR the best performance for me, it sounded even better than there normal records do and to be able to see the band in person made it so incredible. Amy and I sang a long like N*Sync style fans.(don’t judge)
Empire of the Sun- This guy is the male lady gaga…his songs are electric and will shock you.
Arcade Fire- this was the big event of the night, and so we saw the stage but couldn’t get near as close as the other shows, they still put on a great show and there talent is so evident when they perform its redonkulous.
Overall I had an awesome time and would love to come back again, it was hot but it was worth it.

Happy Happy Happy
These past few weeks I have not been able to stop myself from smiling. There are lots of reasons, one I met someone who makes me smile..a boy(blushing). Another reason is my shit is finally coming together in school finally got accepted into the program and got into the classes I needed to start taking about a year ago ( yes Im on the 5 year plan). I am running a work week for Rho Gammas next week and I am somewhat starting to feel confident about doing that. Being infront 42 women and telling what they should or should not do is a little intimidating. The next few days I will be packing up and getting ready to ship out to San Marcos for my fourth year of college just typing that makes me roll my eyes in disbelief. Also I get to move into my fabulous new duplex early thank baby jesus since I will be bumming off peoples couches.
Tomorrow will be good but the future is more exciting.
